In the boom days of the Nigerian stock market, the government of Akwa Ibom State through collaborative efforts with the Nigerian Stock Exchange Commission decided to bring the trade in commodity and stocks closer to the people in the state by developing a branch of the Stock Exchange in Uyo, the state capital to not only empower the locals but to open the state to both direct and indirect foreign investment.
Units Environmental Sciences was commissioned to develop a design for the proposed exchange. Our team – architects, engineers and quantity surveyors lead other specialists from design brief development to concept through to realization.
Essentially, the design did not only provide contemporary digital trading floor but included office suites for brokers and meetings rooms for board meetings, training, seminars, and workshops.
It also features then one of the largest outdoor electronic boards for real-time stock training display and advertisements.
