Our practice was privileged to be allocated a plot of land under the accelerated development program of the FCDA mid-2000.
It was a lot of about 1400 sqm in the CBD.
The design was essentially to cater to our needs as a design firm and to provide the design community within the FCT collaborative spaces to share design process experiences as well as trainings.
Integrative design process was followed from concept to realization.
The features an atrium that flows into a reception area to welcome people and the connects laterally and vertically to open plan offices as studios and client’s engagement areas and then office suites for the principals and other management staff.
To promote biophilia, planted gabion walls were used as embankment to the stream that borders the site.
